Koki Masumi

Raised in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture. Graduated from the University of Tokyo with a degree in Civil Engineering in 2004. Studied under Hiroshi Naito throughout both undergraduate and graduate studies in the Master’s Program in Social Infrastructure at the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Engineering. During graduate school, participated in an exchange program at the Faculty of Architecture, Delft University of Technology.
After completing the master’s program in 2007, moved to the United States and worked at Marwan Al-Sayed Architects, LTD. in Arizona. Returned to Japan in 2010, gaining experience at architectural firms and development consulting firms before founding Masumi Architecture Studio LLC in 2020.
